My name is Ola. The Tea Room is an inspiration born by my desire to support my colleagues in the teaching profession. Teaching is one of the oldest and noblest profession, a platform that has raised pioneers of industries and still moulding leaders. It is a profession that has birth the destinies of nations, produced pace setters and is still developing future generations.
Yet, I witness my colleagues leaving the profession emotionally broken, due to the physical and emotional demands of the job, excessive workload, workplace bullying, stress and low morale. As was also not immune to any of the factors above and had my own share of pain, I have decided to set up The Tea Room to address the needs of my colleagues across London.
